My partner and I stayed at the Acapulco Hyatt. Overall the hotel was ok. The hotel is in definite need of a renovation, as the guestroom furnishings have seen better days. We did not eat at any of the restaurants; however, outside the hotel on the sidewalk they have huge billboards for each day of the week as to what... more

Terrible Service. Waited 30 at front desk to check out ( No one in line) Had to reset key card every day to get back in my room. Again had to wait 30 min to get it done. Rest food was acceptable but nothing special Would not recommend more

This is the worst hotel in the world, the rooms would disgrace an animal santuary, the swimming pool would be closed down in anything but a third world country and the plumbing is for decorative purposes only. The grounds are often hired by itinerant organisations who delight in 5AM bugle calls and very loud commands, on such occasions sleep is... more

We have stayed here twice. The first time, our experience was better because we booked a club deal, where breakfast and canopies where included. The service in the club was excellent, however the room still smelled of mould and was very basic. Also, most of the time, the food was very average, and I got food poisoning from the salmon.... more

This has to be the worst Hyatt I have ever stayed at! The company I was visiting made the reservation and insisted on paying for the room. I specifically asked for the Hyatt as I am a Diamond Member w/G-Passport. Upon check-in - I gave them my GPP# and they gave me a terrible double room with no view of... more

The hotel is located in a good location, it's next to many resturants, a walmart and of course the beach (bay). It is however a short distance from the downtown resturants, attractions and nightclubs. The taxi ride is only $6 to get there so don't worry. The hotel is very safe. I did have a problem a check in, I... more

I rarely complain, as I travel all the time! But I am allawoing myself to one annual complaint, and here it is: this hotel was bad! And not to my Hyatt expectations! I have never been disappointed with Hyatt in the past... The only reason I choose this hotel was because of it's location to the convention center. I was... more

This is not your usual Hyatt. It is sooo not up to Hyatt standards. Since I always want to say something positive in a review, I will say that our room location was wonderful. We had a corner room on the 10th floor, meaning we had a balcony that looked out onto Acapulco Bay and then wrapped around the corner... more

My wife and I stayed for a week and after reading some reviews, we expected less. This hotel was in a great location, convenient to the bus (right across the street) and Starbucks and restaurants, (a few short blocks walk each morning). The hotel staff was as perfect as one can expect and the remodeled room we had with the... more

We stayed at the hotel for a week and only have great things to say about it. It was very very clean. There were always housekeepers cleaning up the public areas. The grounds are gorgeous. The pools inviting. We had no problem getting seats where we wanted them (overlooking the ocean). The rooms are very very large. The beds are... more
