We had our wedding at Romora Bay the week of January 21-28, 2007. It was the most wonderful experience! We had previously stayed in the hotel two times (in July and in October) and both times were fantastic. We have stayed in all room types and love it! The rooms are all decorated differenly, but they are all very comfortable... more

Let me start by explaining that we stayed at the Romora Bay 6 yrs ago when it was still owned by Lionel, the Frenchman referenced in many of the reviews here and it is true that the hotel has changed hands and is now managed by an American couple. Let's start with the positives. RB is stiuated on a hilltop... more

We had a small wedding (35 guests) at Romora in July and had the most lovely time. Patty and Luis put a lot of effort into all the details, and even threw in a few surprises. We found our room charming, and the staff at Romora some of the best on the island. And the location of Romora can't be... more

I must say the Romora is the most romantic and peaceful hotel I have ever stayed at. The service was excellent and the food was awesome. The new resident manager, Mr. Louie Alicea is running the place like a champ along with his wife, Patty. Not only that, he is the chef and has brought to the menu some incredible,... more

This is a wonderful little property, and has been under new management, with new owners since last year. We just recently returned from a 7 night stay, and I must say that since the only real 'negatives' on tripadvisor specifically refer to the previous owner and what sound like crazy, rude antics by "someone named Lionel" who is NO LONGER... more

Weathered a hurricane in this wonderful setting during the fall of 2001. My wife and I stayed here for just over a week. It is a very nice property on a beautiful, sleepy island. Eclectic decoration, stunning sunsets. All in all, there are much worse places to stay. A hurricane roared right over the island during our stay, however that... more

We stayed at Romora Bay back in 2004. The hotel itself is very eclectic in decor (which some might like) but in need of some serious upkeep. I can overlook everything to do with decor and upkeep about the hotel since I am not one to complain, except I had a very unpleasant experience with the hotel owner, Mr. Lionel.... more

We went back to Romora Bay recently and were so pleasantly surprised by the changes. The hotel has recently changed hands and the new owners really seem to be putting a lot of time and money into the property. The property is as beautiful as ever with great views of the bay and the sunsets. The buildings have all been... more

My wife and I stayed at Romora Bay Club over New Year's and for the most part we had a great experience. The hotel room could have used a little work, but in light of the recent hurricanes and great room rate it worked fine for us. We ate dinner at the hotel the first night and the food was... more

I don't even know where to start! My family and I discovered Romora Bay almost a year ago and from day one, they have been nothing but helpful! We were planning a wedding and weren't sure exactly what hotel to have it at. We took a few trips during the year to Harbour Island and the service and hospitality we... more
