this was exactly what I was looking for to celebrate my 50th b-day. I wanted to be able to wake up to it on a warm, sunny beach! The room was less than average, with a shower the size of one you'd find in a small trailer home. The beach area was not on par with other Bahama resorts. Go to Small Hope Bay if you want to stay right on the beach in a friendly, low-key environment with lots of opportunity to snorkle, scuba dive or just lie around in a hammock reading a book. Avoid the place if you're looking for somewhere fancy, slick, over-priced or crowded. There's no scene here, there's not even a swimming pool.... more
