My first trip to Bermuda but certainly not my last, I booked the Fairmont Southampton after balking at a $519/night rate at the Fairmont Princess in Hamilton. After some research on Trip Advisor®, I realized the Princess is not on a beach, and although I booked this trip for business, I figured it couldn't hurt to have a beach nearby.... more

If you have some extra money to blow, you'll like it a lot. Rooms very clean service above average ok now lets get to the point: this hotel has an indoor and outdoor pool. it rained during my stay and so I was shocked when I was told they would charge $30 per person for use of the indoor pool... more

Great hotel with views of the water on either side. I was there for a meeting, but i was able to go to their protected beach quite easily. Sometimes I made the five minute walk down the hill. Other times, i rode the frequent trolleys. You can take their free boat to Hamilton, but it runs infrequently and is very... more

Wonderful hotel. It was a toss up between this hotel and Elbow Beach - but chose this because of the reviews. This was the right call. However, Sunday brunch (12-3pm) at Elbow Beach is fantastic! Beautiful room. Great view (even in 'no view' cheaper rooms!). Plenty of restaurants - and Waterlot Inn is great for a last night (but very... more

Just spent 4 nights at the Fairmont Southampton with a party of 8 - ranging in age from 2 years to 60 years old - the hotel had something for everyone. I've stayed in Bermuda 5 times now and wanted a large property that catered well for families, had plenty of space & facilities and was centrally located near to... more

We just got back from Bermuda and had a great time. I would recommend the Southampton Princess. The beach, though small, is nice and we never found it crowded. The trolley that takes people to the beach is fairly reliable, though a few times we waited an inordinate amount of time. The pool area is OK, nothing great, but again... more

The hotel is gorgeous and luxurious. If you are looking for a 5 star vacation, this is the place. The spa is incredible. Expensive, but worth it. The food at the Waterlot and at Bacci was outstanding. Jasmine was good for afternoon tea but the food at dinner was not that good. There are two breakfast buffets in the morning.... more

This hotel is good if you are visiting Bermuda for a long weekend. Overall a positive experience with a few small negatives. The hotel is clean, nicely kept and is surrounded by beautiful grounds. Be prepared to spend a lot of money for food and drinks (which is typical everywhere in Bermuda- so no surprise). Hotel caters to families and... more

The best beach you will ever have at a hotel. The rooms were nice, but nothing special. The pool is lacking. What you get, and its worth it, is access to an exclusive beach solely used for hotel guests. The lobby and the shops are well decorated and the restaraunts are good, but bring your ATM card. more

My husband and I went to Bermuda for vacation this year and this hotel was everything I couldn't have asked to have in a vacation hotel. Stay on the 6th Floor and take the Gold package. It costs a little more, but the extras- as breakfast and dessert; a separate concierge, and all the little extras that go along with... more
