Nice place but too many children. The kids are running around a great deal and this is really a family resort. If you have a family you will love it. Otherwise, you find yourself headed for the strip of restaurants and bars which are nice but the same as we have at home (Hooters, Fridays, etc). You have to pay... more

What a great family vacation. My wife and I and our 2 children ages 7 and 9 just got back on the 20th from the Surf Club. Our first stay there as a Marriott Timeshare owner. I can't think of better family vacation. We stayed in a beautiful 2 bedroom suite Ocean/Pool view on the 11th floor. I don't understand... more

Last year we visited Aruba and stayed at the newly renovated Hyatt - an awesome first class hotel - rooms were small and pricey, but first class. This year we stayed at the Marriott Surf Club - Very large spacious room, full kitchen, washer and dryer 2 tv's which is a benefit when you have kids. Though we loved the... more

A group of 8 friends (all mid 20's) and I stayed at the Surf Club for the last week of May. We had a great time! We stayed in a timeshare (given to us for the week by a friend's mom) and got upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite. There was plenty of space for all 8 of us and... more

Returned from a week's stay at the Surf Club on June 20. It was a terrific resort. We stayed on the 11th floor with an ocean view, it was beautiful. I would recommend any view, but a pool view. It is very noisy around the pool area. Personally, I didn't like the pool area, it was loud and people were... more

My husband and I along with our two teen-age sons ( 15 & 16 ) just returned from a Wonderful 8 day vacation at the BEAUTIFUL Surf Club. We went on the Timeshare preview package, but added additional nights. I would HIGHLY recommend this option to anyone considering it. We attended a very low pressure 90 minutes exactly presentation. This... more

Just got back from Aruba Surf Club. Some good things, some bad. We are not time share owners but were coming to see about purchasing time share but were amazed at the lines upon check in. Nothing like check in at a hotel and nothing like we had ever seen before anywhere and we travel all the time, everyone was... more

I was approached at the Aruba airport if I wanted to buy a package to stay at the Aruba Marriott Surf Club in the future and it would only $489 for 5 nights, it's normally $390 a night in a one bedroom suite, so I thought it was a great deal. I bought the package and then booked my future... more

My husband and I just returned from our vacation in Aruba from June 5-12. We stayed the first night at the Marriott Stellaris and Casino Hotel (beautiful room) and the remaining 6 nights in a two bedroom villa at the Marriot Surf Club. I had some concerns about my selection of the Surf Club based on some previous reviews, but... more

We traded our Marriott Myrtle Beach timeshare for a 2 bedroom unit at the Aruba Surf Club. The beach was the reason we went. We had expected the ocean beach water to be crystal clear. Instead, the swimming area beach for the Aruba Surf Club had a very slimy, murky, bottom. I suspect it is because the small, roped off... more
