My wife and I, along with two other couples, stayed at the Holiday Inn Sunspree Aruba the week of August 31 to Sept 7. I am 31 years of age, have extensive travel experience, and am an avid tripadvisor user. That being said, I have to say that the volatility of review type for this particular hotel really peaked my... more

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Sunspree for 1 week in August. After reading all the negative comments, we were a afraid of what we were going to encounter, but we had a wonderful time. Were were in the Bonaire tower, our room was clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We did not go all inclusive, but found... more

We recently went to Aruba on a discounted rate due to some travel mishaps by a family. They paid for their tickets, couldn't go and we got them for half price. Basically for what I paid I was satisfied, but what they paid, not worth the price! Pool - Only two small pools, one children and the other adult, adult... more

Holiday Inn is the perfect place to stay in Aruba. Don't let the negative reviews ruin your impression of Holiday Inn before you even get there. The Holiday Inn is great, you just need to be prepared and know what to expect before going there. For one, you do get what you pay for. The rooms may not be ritzy,... more

Good for half of what you want a hotel for: a clean place to lay your head. You are going to spend most of your day out-and-about the island anyway, not thinking about a building. But if you are looking with a critical eye, you'll get some stuff to feast on. It "ain't" luxury. It is a Holiday Inn, after... more

Just back from a weeks all inclusive . In my opinion we got an absolute bargain as 5 of us (in 2 rooms) paid around $1050 canadian dollars each.(Sears travel, booked around 4 weeks ago) My husband and I were in the Bonaire tower and my daughter and friends were in the Aruba tower. Both rooms were clean and bright.... more

Just returned from 10 days at the Holiday Inn. The check-in went very smooth and we were in our rooms in 15 minutes. Rooms were ok. Clean but nothing special, though we really did not spend much time there. We were in theCuracao tower. The pool and beach were magnificant and we had no trouble getting a hut on the... more

My boyfriend and I went to the Holiday Inn Sunspree resort in August for a week, and had a very nice time. If you are looking to stay in a 5 star hotel, the Holiday Inn is not for you. It is your basic Holiday Inn. Here are some highlights and some lowlights of our vacation. Check-In: Check-in was horrible.... more

Aruba Tower: There are 3 total towers to this resort, all seem very "Holiday Inn-ish". If you are judging a book by it's cover and compare it to the Playa Linda next door, you will be sad. We were, just based on looks alone. Our room: No frills. We are a family of 4 so we needed two beds. The... more

I had my wedding at this resort in July. Don't do it!!!! The beach/pool is awesome but the rest is not. The hotel is old but is a good value for the money. The wedding itself was an embarassment. I could never get ahold of the wedding planner. It would take weeks for him to respond. He messed up the... more
