I cant believe some of these reviews! I guess if you were born and raised in europe and spent your days walking around beautiful old cities like Prague, maybe you've grown tired of all the architecture..but not us Americans! I thought the bridge was amazing, a must see in prague! There are statues lining the bridge, which ive never seen... more

It's old. It's a bridge. It goes from one bank to the other. It's better than getting wet. So what? The bridge is full of people trudging along presumably looking for the Wow! moment that never comes. There are dozens of the tedious portrait artists who infest very major city anywhere and a load of people selling tourist tat and... more

KARLUV MOST, also known as the Charles Bridge. Construction began in 1357 during the time of King Charles IV, to replace the much smaller “Judith Bridge” (built approximately 1170 and named after King Vladislav’s I’s wife Judith) which was destroyed by a flood. I recommend doing some research on the Charles Bridge before visiting it because there is a lot... more

Charles Bridge!! Over rated. Nothing to it. Just another bridge. Prague is a place where they rip off tourists. Just go a few miles out and see that prices and life is sober. Never bother to order fish!! It is a land locked Country and fish is very expensive. Had been to one fusion restaurant where the food was good.From... more

This bridge must be the most visited bridge in Europe (perhaps alongside Tower Bridge in London). When we were there it was constantly busy with others (tourists like us) going up and down and in the evenings it can take a very long time to get from one end to the other, which connect the old town square to a... more

My first experience over Charles Bridge was walking over it to get to the American Embassy to get new passports after being pickpocketed at the train station (I'm not a newbie to traveling, they can get anyone so be careful!). So I went over the bridge in a blur, it was crowded, but there were interesting statues and vendors all... more

Its a Bridge....its crowded...there is a lot of construction going on...and every 5 feet there is another vendor selling something. Views are ok but don't even compare to other sites around the city; ie Prague Castle. Cross it on your way to or from the Castle but don't be expecting to much...its a BRIDGE =) The one highlight though are... more

A trip to prague wouldnt be complete without walking over the King Charles bridge. A good place to take photos and learn a bit of history about Prague and the kings. If you want to take good photos without anyone else there get up there for early morning. On the bridge you can street vendors and local performers. We bought... more
