Had a great day on this all-day sail! Starting at around 8:30AM, we (a group of just 12 during the off-season) sailed about for an hour or so after enjoying a simple breakfast, then proceeded to snorkel in three separate bays on the island. The snorkeling was great, the scenery fabulous, and the captain (Doug) and crew (another Doug and... more

This would have been a perfect day trip, with the exception of one major problem - the boat was way too CROWDED!!! New Horizons has several boats, and we were on the Breakaway - which comfortably seats 22 tourists. The "fun" began early that day by New Horizons cramming 30 people onto the boat. New Horizons claims the boat is... more

The powerboat tour offered by New Horizon is the best tour for a day trip. The crew is professional and gives the best attention to the the travelers. Every detail is taken care of. The Captain, Chad and Assistant Evertt made the trip most enjoyable. Great memories for the trip to St. Thomas. Hurayt Missouri more

We took the day excursion to the British Virgin Islands that leaves from Sapphire Marina. The entire day was well planned and allowed us enough time to enjoy each place we visited. Our crew, Scott and Eric, were great. We had a cooler full of drinks and Eric made painkillers whenever we wanted. Our first stop was the Baths at... more

We just returned from St. Thomas and had a wonderful trip on the Bamboushay. We originally thought we would be on the Daydreamer and did not know that we would be on the Bamboushay until we actually got on! The only difference between the boats according to the crew is that the Bamboushay is slightly bigger and it is blue... more

We took a daysail during a port visit in St Thomas. We paid $20 pp roundtrip to get from Havensight to the marina in Red Hook where we initially encountered a bit of confusion as the crew of three was in the process of organizing everything while the passengers waited on the dock past the appointed time to meet. Ultimately,... more

Initially we had some confusion reading the reviews because there are a couple of companies with similar names. This review is for the New Horizons II day excursion to the British Virgin Islands. It leaves from the Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina on St. Thomas. On their website it says the price is $145 for adults but if you book... more

My partner and I just returned from a week-long southern Caribbean cruise, and the first island we visited was St. Thomas, USVI. We booked a day sail/snorkel with New Horizons due to its overwhelming popularity on TA. First, it is important for readers of these reviews to understand that there are essentially two different trips being reviewed under this one... more

We took the Breakaway tour (powerboat-not sailboat) which is owned by New Horizons. The trip is one of the best ways to see so many different islands. I would definitely recommend it. The scenery was amazing and the crew was very friendly. We enjoyed it a lot. We went past Tortola & it was beautiful. Our first stop was at... more
